We are authorized training instructors, promoting health and safety education, as well as life-saving and hazard prevention training. Our instructors provide CPR, BLS, HeartSavers, First Aid, PFA (Pediatric First Aid), Babysitters Training, and AED (Automated External Defibrillation) instruction. In addition to health and safety education, we offer OSHA 10-hour and 30-hour classes.

Our Courses

General Industry

OSHA Outreach Training

Upon Request Health Resources offers both 10-Hour and 30- Hour General Industry OSHA training courses. These courses will explain OSHA’s role in worker safety and health, jobsite hazard recognition, correction and prevention methods and how to read the OSHA standards.  Participants will receive a  completion card from the U.S. Department of Labor OSHA certifying successful completion of the OSHA 10-Hour or 30-Hour course. 

These basic safety courses are recommended for workers and supervisors or those who have been given the task of developing and managing their employer’s safety program.

Learn the basics of CPR - cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Gain the skills and confidence necessary to perform this life-saving procedure when it's needed most.

First Aid​

Learn first aid basics for the most common first aid emergencies, including how to recognize them, how to call for help, and how to perform lifesaving skills.

Babysitters Training

Start your babysitting business on the right foot and learn how to be a safe, professional and reliable sitter. Get certified in First Aid and CPR/AED, and add even more value to your clients.

Pediatric First Aid

Trains participants how to respond to and manage illnesses and injuries in a child or infant in the first few minutes until professional help arrives.

Basic Life Support (BLS)

Trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED.

Workplace Bloodborne Pathogens​

Teaches students how to protect themselves and others from being exposed to blood or blood-containing materials.

As an official training center of the American Heart Association and the American Red Cross, Upon Request Health Resources conducts a wide variety of courses that fit the needs of lay rescuers and experienced rescuers alike. All materials come directly from the American Heart Association and the American Red Cross and are included in all courses. 

Our CPR and First Aid Certification classes can be given at your location, providing you with flexibility and control while allowing you to be trained in a more relaxed and comfortable environment.

Nationally Certified Trainer

Our instructors have passed courses by the American Heart Association (AHA) and the American Red Cross (ARC), and our course curriculum follows their guidelines. Upon Request Health Resources training meets and often exceeds Nationally Accepted requirements set by Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) and OSHA.
